Clair M. Peyton, LCSW, ACSW
Director of Social Work

Clair has enjoyed working in the adoption world for the past 8 years of her career.  Earning her MSW in 1984 from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), she first worked in family counseling for the Navy’s Family Service Center system while a Navy wife.  She feels privileged that she was then able to remain home with her three children for 14 years, enjoying her ability to be very involved volunteering for their varied school and church activities. When ready to return to employment, she first worked as a hospital social worker, but was delighted to join Forever Families and thinks it is a great privilege to play a small part in the adoption process of so many wonderful families. Though she has not adopted a child personally, she does feel very attached to the 30 plus Haitian orphans she serves in a volunteer capacity in Fort Liberté, Haiti and is always planning her next trip to see them.  If you don't have much time, DO NOT ask her about her work in Haiti!  She and her husband have know each other since they were age 4, and they have been happily married since 1982.  In shock that they are old enough for their last child to be off to college, they are grateful for the presence of their crazy happy rescue dog and two cool kitties in their home.

Meg Sales Barr
Office Administrator

After graduating from Mt. Vernon High School, Meg was hired as a stenographer for the Federal Government.  While enrolled at Northern Virginia Community College where she studied computer science, she was accepted into an intern program with the Federal Government and became a computer programmer and analyst.  In 1985 she accepted a Project Manager position with USA Today.  In 1989, letting her entrepreneurial spirit take flight, she launched Printing Professionals, a staffing agency for the printing industry.  In 1993 she launched Printing Professionals’ sister company, The Partners Group -- a printing and promotional products company located in Stafford, Virginia.  The company is now owned and operated by her son and daughter-in-law.  Meg is the mother of 5 children with her late husband of 46 years, Raymond.  She is also the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren, one of whom is adopted.  Experiencing first-hand through her adopted granddaughter the happiness and many blessings adoption brings led Meg to Forever Families Adoption Services, where she now works as the Office Administrator.  Meg is also actively involved with her church, serving as the secretary and events director.

Lorelea Wann

After earning her Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma in 2001, Lorelea began working first as a social worker for a local county Department of Social Services and more recently as a case manager for Early Intervention.  It is through her experiences in working with children in abuse and neglect situations that she discovered her passion for bringing families together, giving them the tools and resources they need to strengthen and grow.  She began providing home study and post placement services to Forever Families in 2011.  She is thrilled to be able to play a part in connecting families and seeing their joy when a child is welcomed into their homes.  Lorelea has been married to her husband for 14 years and they are the doting parents of one daughter and a crazy little rescue dog, who keep them both very busy!
